We were playing the "I'm thinking of an animal" game in the car the other day. Ethan often chooses crocodile and Kate a bee. So, I asked,"What's your favorite animal, Kate?"
Kate: ummm..... ummmmm..... a...... a monkey!
Me: Ethan, what's your favo--
Ethan: (without hesitating or taking a breath in between) Elephants, meerkats, and komodo dragons!
hmm.. I guess he's been thinking about this a lot lately. And I guess it's time to renew our zoo membership.
