We spent this past week in Utah for Brad and Alisha's wedding. It was exhausting from plane take-off (in Chicago) to plane landing (in California), but it was also a lot of fun to see family, friends, and eat Cafe Rio. Our first stop was Grandma Packer's house. They knew right away it was a good place to be.
The wedding was Friday night and although it was the end of a long day for them, they tried their best to be good little troopers. Grandma was a lifesaver and helped Kate take a little snoozer.
As I mentioned, it was exhausting trying to cart 5 monthers around, but they were great to take their naps anywhere- Alisha's closet, grandma's bed, the car about a million times, Ryan and Alissa's bed.
It was so fun to stay with Brock, Nicole and Lily. It was a little bittersweet, though, because it made us realize how much we miss them and that we won't all be going back to Chicago at the end of the summer. We will miss them, but they better come visit us in California.

You guys have been busy!
We used those same swaddle blankets with David...LOVED them!!
I love trips to Utah! You guys didn't happen to see Spencer Toronto did you? We haven't heard from him in ages.
Guess what, Alauren...you are in my college roommate's ward in Cali and they just moved in too. See their blog link off of our page - Matt & Shannon. They are super cool - you will love them! Give Shan a big hug for me (when you are comfortable enough to do so, of course). :)
Glad you guys are back home...and survived all the crazy packing/trips/flights!
I think you should shorten it and just go by Alla. Fits, right?
Congrats to the other Brad Packer. And can there be any better place than a cozy chair at Grandma Packer's? Highly doubtful.
