The train runs right below our apartment building (although a lot less annoying than you might think), so even though there is a park right outside our door, it's the viewing of the train that gets them excited to go for a walk. The train only comes about every 10 minutes or so, but they will stand here "Choo! Choo!"ing away for as long as I will let them. They wait...
And get so excited when it comes. "choo choo," waves, "hi"s, and "bye"s. Worth every minute of the wait.
Of course Kristie and Kooper had to come...

I decided it was time for them to take a ride on the train. (they have been on it before, but they of course do not remember). We went to Chinatown. Doesn't matter. The train ride was the highlight of the day.
