I was in the bathroom getting ready when I heard Kate, calling to me, her voice getting louder and less patient with each sentence:
Mommy, will you please get me some water? I hear you in there! Listen to my voice! I want some water!
We’ve been working on talking with a nice voice and she’s doing really well with it most of the time, but sometimes, she just really wants her water.

Hahahaha!! There are few things worse than asking for some water, and then someone not getting it RIGHT NOW. :-)
